In fact, I felt uncomfortable with the level of exhaustive questions that were being asked. The hiring manager was asking many detailed questions about my past internships and experiences that I didn't find relevant to the role or company. Unfortunately, I was really disappointed by the first interview. I was looking forward to the interview, I felt good about the company, and I was excited to learn more about it. At that point I knew they weren’t interested but the least you can do is send a generic “Thanks, no thanks” note to candidates. They weren’t aware of the presentation prompt that they sent meĪfter all the effort I put in, they didn’t contact me to let me know they weren’t interested until my 3rd follow up email. I was not told about a writing sample prompt and the WPM test & 2. They seem pretty disorganized on the process given 1. Continued as I had prepped and then they gave feedback which was largely - why did you lead that training as you did? Then I met with the CEO. I was sent an email saying to prep for the presentation as a training on to do list management - but got on the Zoom and they said “okay this is our first conversation with Trello, start from there”.

Next step was a presentation on the software Trello.

It was awkward and I definitely did not do my best work so prep yourself for that. At the end there was an impromptu *live* writing test and a typing WPM test. They asked a lot of detailed questions about what I do and what I’ve done in the past.

Started with a quick screening by HR, then moved to 1.5 hours with a few people from CS leadership. I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at PerformYard in Aug 2022 Interview
